Matthew had a great birthday...was able to take a few friends to Wichita for the monster truck rally again. Had a terrific time, especially since mom and dad relented to have a sleepover after they all got back to Dodge. Nobody slept much, but it was a great time.
Unfortunately, birthday or not, strep throat hit Matthew Jan. 8th. The girls had bad colds at the same time so we had line-ups for the medicine distribution! Ha! Everyone is better now (except for Mom) and we are all looking forward to SPRING!
Eric's Financial Peace University took off in the diocese...he has well over 120 people enrolled all over southwest KS and after a few initial glitches in the networking software, things are going smoothly and I've heard nothing but good things about the class. Had lots of credit cards get cut up last week and a few announced that already they are debt free! How cool is that?!
Work for Mom has been going well...Medicare is shaking things up again so the Advil is always close by. Looking forward to less transition amongst insurance companies and more stability...yeah, right.
Looks like some warmer weather is headed our way this weekend...after being -7 this morning, we are certainly excited to see that Saturday might actually be in the 50's...we'll see. (Ready to see the ice melt around here...Kara and Mommy took a spill this morning; we are OK; just banged up a bit but otherwise OK).
Enjoy the Super Bowl next week everyone!!Comments:Add a comment:
