Just got the phone call from the babysitter...Kara walked from the couch to their front door! Of course, I missed it, having had to switch my days off but hopefully, Miss K will do it again when we get home tonight so we can get a video out to everyone!
Got to go to Texas (finally!) over Columbus Day weekend...had been a year and a half since we last went down. Lots had changed, but yet lots had stayed the same. Chris and Amy got to take time out from all the kids and spend the day in Wichita Falls. Eric and Greg got to take their break the next day and go flying (Greg is a pilot). They did a fly over of the house while we were all outside...the kids were so excited! Had some trouble with a blown out tire on the way home on the 10th, but otherwise (besides some sickness), the entire trip was extremely relaxing. Both Eric and I agreed we hadn't been that relaxed in a long time.
Congrats to Jarrod and Holly Haselhorst...they were united in marriage on Saturday (Oct. 14) in Salina. The wedding was beautiful and we were glad that we were there. God Bless you!
Matthew is now toothless in front and working on another front tooth. Had pictures at school yesterday so hopefully, he smiled big enough to show off his "holes!"
Allison must be growing again, because she seems to be falling over her feet more often. Lots of band-aids are being used in our house and she's pretty banged up on her hands and knees! Mommy promised to paint her fingernails to "pretty up" her hands again! Ha!
Now begins the process of re-doing our kitchen. Eric just about has the cabinet faces finished and I will begin the painting very soon. It's a never-ending process in our house with fixing up things. We keep finding all sorts of problems with the house, but slowly but surely, I think we are repairing what we can.
We will see some of you this weekend for Aunt Betty's memorial service...our house is open for whatever the entire weekend, so don't hesitate to stop by. Just please don't mind our mess in the kitchen...remember, it's a work in progress!
Well, I'd better get back to work. Have a great week everyone!Comments:Add a comment:

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. Please remember all the children lost and their parents who grieve their absence. October is also the month for Awareness.
