Mom and "Little Bean" had another doctor appointment today. Everything looks fine and we are all set up for a November 4 delivery! 'Course, if this baby does what her parents think she will do, we will be announcing her arrival earlier than that! We will see....Anyway, baby's heartbeat was in the 150's and Mom is measuring farther along than the 33 weeks the doctor said she is (he wouldn't say how much farther). Mom was tickled to see that the scale hadn't changed since the last appointment! Woo!Hoo!
FALL IS HERE! The temperature officially dropped into the fall weather range today and brought the blustery fall KS winds with it! We (well some of us anyway) are excited to see the hot weather go away for another season!
Hurricane Rita missed our relatives down south in Corpus Christi. We are so thankful that they were spared any of the devastation.
We were excited to get an e-mail from Uncle Garrett. He is in Egypt on training manuvers with the Army and he sent us an e-mail with some pretty cool pictures! All is well, and we look forward to welcoming him home soon!!
Well, until next time....Comments:Add a comment:

Had another doctor appointment yesterday and everything is fine......"Little Bean" was wide awake and her heartrate was in the high 150s! Doctor said that all measurements look really good and he is tickled and relieved that we have made it this far. He didn't think that the baby's bigger measurements during last week's ultrasound was any big deal so he left my EDD at November 16. But that date doesn't matter anymore anyway! We have a scheduled date to go to the hospital for "Little Bean's" arrival! It will be November 4, 2005. We don't have a time yet, but Dr. Marshall was estimating probably mid-morning. Mommy was really happy to finally have a definite date and is not upset at all that it is earlier than anticipated! Baby's things are set up in Allison's room and her bag is even ready to go (I know, I know, a little early for that, but I was bored the other day!). So now we just wait. Only 6 more weeks! Woo!Hoo!
Weather seems to be starting to cool off more and more.......moods are definitely improving because of it! Ha! Especially those of us who have to pay the electric bills! Allison has started Kindermusik and absolutely loves it! She's definitely our little musician. And she's excited for the new baby...she's been practicing being mommy to all of her dolls! Matthew is enjoying 1st grade.....he's even had a bit of his first homework here and there. He's doing well in all his subjects--if we could just work on the talking thing! Oh well. He gets it honestly! We decorated the house for fall on Sunday so that's got both kids shifting their attentions to picking out costumes for Halloween! But Matthew is looking even further and has been asking when the snow will start flying! Goodness! It's still 90 degrees out!
Have a good week everyone!Comments:Add a comment:

Had another doctor appointment today with the OB/GYN. But, doctor had a family death so we didn't get to see him (so, no official c-section date yet as hoped), but we did get to see the nurse for our scheduled ultrasound. Allie got to see her little sister on the "T.V" but seemed more interested in the buttons the nurse was pushing! Our little lady isn't measuring so little! Doctor's office says we are at 30 weeks....ultrasound measured her at about 32 1/2 (which would make the due date around November 2!). Her heartrate is normal (142 bpm) and she's very active! The best thing about the whole ultrasound by far was being able to see her little face! It was so clear and sweet!
So, anyway, we still don't know when we will "officially" be scheduled for birth but we did get some pretty cool photo's (see Little Bean's photo album). We go back to the doctor's office on Monday (12th) so hopefully we will get some more info. then. Have a great week and weekend everyone!Comments:Add a comment:
