  Just got back from our yearly trip to the Midwest Catholic Family Conference in Wichita. Because of our loss of Justin, this year's conference was needed more than ever. And it did prove to be one of the better conferences we attended. This time, instead of going by ourselves, we had lots of friends and family who went with us. They enjoyed themselves, too. It's nice to see people growing and learning in their faith. Maybe sometime, we will be able to get other family members or friends to come and see what we are all about....not to convert them, but to show them how, when, where, why, and for how long we worship.
  
  It was bittersweet being there: we weren't supposed to be there at all. Justin's due date is this Saturday (Aug. 14). Justin was supposed to be either A) kicking mommy like crazy, wanting out, or B) growing and getting stronger in the NICU. We miss Justin terribly (Matthew asked if Justin had a phone number in heaven!), but we take one day at a time. We appreciate everyone's continued prayers to help us heal. God Bless You all.
