Well, here it is 4 weeks after losing our little Baby H and we are talking about the recent laying of Justin's headstone. It really is beautiful and it touched our hearts to see it. We just wish that it didn't have our son's name on it.
On a happier note, we have been able to visit with quite a bit of family lately who have been gracious enough to come to our home to visit. We have had a great time with all of you and we really appreciate the time you have taken to come and visit us. We are looking forward to the holidays when we will be able to welcome 2 new additions to the family (neices/nephews) come Christmas and be able to visit some family we haven't seen in quite awhile.
The kids are doing well: Matthew is really enjoying school and it is hard to believe that the 1st 9 weeks is over this week! He had his first field trip to Dodge City last Friday and had a ball....he was able to see some old friends from back home in Ness City. He hasn't gotten much taller: seems to be that the only thing growing right now is his feet!!! Allison is growing by leaps and bounds. Everyone can't get over the fact that she's only going to be two next month....she's as tall as a three year old! She is currently battling ear infections again (had this problem all winter last year)....we are hoping that this is the only bout so we can avoid tubes. Her vocabulary has grown with leaps and bounds in the last couple of weeks...she suprises us every day with a new word or two! We are very blessed by these two!
As voting day come upon us, we are praying that each and every one of you pray before going to the polls. Pray about what you want in your life. Pray about what you want for your children. Pray about the innocent children lost. Pray for the safety of our children tomorrow. Vote with a clear conscience and with a heart full of good morals. God Bless all of you during this election season. I, for one, can't wait for it to be over so we can all talk about something else again! Ha!
